Our 2025 - 2026 Season!!
The Players Guild of Leonia presents our 106th Consecutive Season of Live Theater

We’re thrilled to be Announcing our 2025-2026 Season. A wonderful blend of timeless Classics that make up the legends of great theater, plus more recent Plays that challenge, yet entertain us. We’re excited about the year to come and we hope that you’ll be a part of our Season and join us down at the historic Civil War Drill Hall Theater.
Tickets for Red Speedo will go On Sale, July 1.
Our Season begins with Red Speedo, by Lucas Hnath, directed by Chris Hietikko. Would you risk everything to get everything? At what cost? Red Speedo deals with the ethical dilemmas of right and wrong. It’s fast paced, wickedly funny and will have your head ‘swimming’. (September 12-28, 2025) What a great way for us to start our 2025-2026 Season at Players Guild of Leonia.
Then it’s time for Where The Time Goes, co-written and directed by Michael Bias and Musical Director Victoria Casella, an original musical journey through love, memory, and those moments when you wonder if your watch is broken... or if you just blinked and lost a decade. (Relatable, right?) So excited - after 3 staged readings we have our first full production of “Where the Time Goes” at Players Guild of Leonia! It features songs by such greats as Laura Nyro, Crosby Stills and Nash, Brian Wilson, Carole King just to name a few! (November 14-23, 2025)
Feeling a little spirited? Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, directed by Glenn Woertz will have you laughing in the afterlife with mischievous ghosts, bumbling séances, and one very stressed-out husband. (January 23-February 8, 2026)
The Psychic, by Sam Bobrick and directed by Terri Caust, is a hilarious mystery full of twists, turns, and more “Wait, WHAT?” moments than your favorite true crime podcast. (March 13-29, 2026)
Then, get ready to rock your sandals off with Jesus Christ Superstar, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway sensation, directed by Ellyn Essig — because nothing says “epic” like a rock opera about the greatest story ever told! (May 8-24, 2026)
Finally, we end our season with Marshall Playwrights Showcase, an audience favorite weekend showcase of One-Act plays named in honor of our beloved and long-time PGL member, Helene Marshall, who left an indelible mark on our hearts. (June 2026)
It’s going to be a season to remember!
